I've bravely entered for a biathlon.  Never done one before.  Its on 11 March and will involve running and swimming.  I have to swim 50 m and run 1000 m.  Wonder if I'll be fast enough!

17 February was the Mini League Gala at Hyndburn Sports Centre.  Pioneer 79 came 2nd overall.  I did 50 metres butterfly and think I came 1st by a hairs breadth.  I then swam in 4 x 25 m medley.  I had to swim backstroke and finished level with the girl from Warrington.  Good night was had by all.  Tinged with a little sadness that Drew Taylor wasn't there to see us.

Ops musn't forget.  I got a bronze medal at the Association of Junior Independent Schools (AJIS) competition with Westholme School.  I got  my medal for the 100 Individual Medley.

I am going to swim in the Lancashire County Water Polo and Swimming Association British Gas Age Group and Swimming Championships 2012 on 4 March.  I will be competing in the 200 metre butterfly.  My current time for this is 3:35:64.  Can I better that!
